Successful Launch of Learn First Seminar Series

A goal without a plan is just a wish.”

– Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

We extend our sincere appreciation to the 120+ residents from Givens Estates and Givens Highland Farms who actively participated in the launch of our Learn First Seminar Series this month. A special thanks to Julie Moses, our Aging in Place Program Director, for leading an enlightening session on “Defying Gravity.”

Key Takeaways:

  • Home transcends bricks and mortar; it’s a FEELING, not just a PLACE.
  • Aging in Place = Prevention, Not Rehabilitation
  • Falls are not a normal part of aging. You can keep on your feet and take steps to stay safe and independent longer.
  • There are various types and styles of grab bars to help enhance safety at home… we’ve even installed a golf putter!
  • We have ways to help our clients enjoy bath time again.

We’d also like to express a big THANK YOU to our supportive vendorsFootRx, Senior Oral Health Services, Land of Sky, Back to Wellness, and Insightful Rehab.
