Spotlight Carolina, an informational television show that promotes regional business and nonprofits, featured Givens Home First, a Givens Communities program that empowers older adults to age gracefully in the comfort of their own homes.
Pat Deck, a Givens Estates resident and Home First client, and Julie Moses, director of aging in place programs and a Certified Aging in Place specialist, sat down with host Nelson Weston of WLOS-TV for an interview about maintaining independence as we age and staying in the comfort of familiar surroundings.

Givens Communities expanded the program to accommodate the increasing need for in-home services across the region. Western North Carolina has a higher proportion of people 65 and older than the rest of the state, with numbers growing exponentially every year.
