Meet Kim Grier:
Kim Grier is a prominent expert in dementia care, currently serving as the Managing Director of EmpowerAge, a business dedicated to training and consulting in person-centered dementia care. Previously, Kim held significant roles such as Public Guardianship Coordinator and Livable Communities Specialist at the Georgia Division of Aging Services, and Assistant Program Director for the Georgia Centenarian Study. She also managed her own guardianship services business and developed impactful programs for the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Additionally, Kim is a past president of the National Guardianship Association and co-chaired the 3rd World Congress on Guardianship in 2014 and currently the president-elect for the Village to Village Network.
Meet Paula Kelley:
Paula Kelley founded NC Guardian and Care Management to provide healthcare advocacy for seniors aging without support. She is an experienced Nurse Practitioner that helps clients navigate the complexities of our health care system and guides them to make informed decisions for their personalized care. By understanding the details of each client’s preferences, needs and goals, she proactively tailors a life plan to direct care before the stress of illness or injury makes decision making more difficult.
Together, we will visit with Paula and Kim and ask the hard questions about dementia. Submit your questions to be asked anonymously here: [email protected]
