In 2023, Givens launched two new programs, Givens Home First and Givens Choice, that offer unique approaches to senior living. Let’s explore the key differences between these two programs:
Givens Home First:
A Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) program that empowers individuals to live fulfilling lives while maintaining independence within the comfort of their own homes.
At this time, Givens Home First is designed for residents of our Life Plan Communities and members of Givens Choice who prefer to age in place within the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. This program offers a comprehensive range of in-home services tailored to individual needs, including:
- A licensed home care agency that provides:
- Personal care assistance
- Companionship and respite care
- Medication support and administration
- Meal preparation
- Among many others!
- Home safety assessments and modifications, which could include:
- Comprehensive review of the home environment
- Installation of grab bars and bidets
- Among so many others!
- Community Nursing for our Life Plan Community Residents
- Walk-in clinic for vital sign readings
- Education and empowerment
Our dedicated team of nurses partner with each participant to create a personalized care plan that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. With Givens Home First, it’s possible to enjoy the benefits of aging in place while receiving the support needed to THRIVE at home.
Givens Choice:
Givens Choice is a membership program for those who do not currently reside in a Givens Community and prefer to remain in their current home as they age.
Givens Choice is a Continuing Care at Home (CCaH) membership-based program designed to provide lifelong security and support for seniors who wish to age in place. Unlike traditional continuing care retirement communities, Givens Choice brings the resources and safety net of a Life Plan Community directly to someone’s home.
Members of Givens Choice benefit from:
- Comprehensive Care Coordination: Members of Givens Choice receive personalized care coordination services, ensuring that their evolving health and care needs are met with precision and compassion.
- Array of Home Care Services: From personal care assistance to skilled nursing care, Givens Choice offers a comprehensive array of home care services tailored to fit individual needs.
- Financial Protection: Givens Choice provides financial protection through a Long-Term plan, offering peace of mind and security for the future.
