Givens Home First, the Western North Carolina-based licensed home care agency of Givens Communities, has received approval to expand its service area to include Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson and surrounding counties.
Givens Home First is dedicated to helping individuals remain safe, healthy, and comfortable at home. Home care services include personal care, companionship, respite support, post-hospitalization care, and up to 24/7 support. In addition, the Aging in Place Program offers home safety evaluations, personalized modifications, thoughtful home redesign, and education to support long-term independence.
With approval from the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services, Acute and Home Care Licensure and Certification Section, Givens Home First Home Care will now begin serving individuals and families in the Hendersonville area, extending the same trusted companion, sitter, in-home aide, and nursing services currently provided in Buncombe and Haywood counties. The Aging in Place Program has been serving Western North Carolina and the wider region for more than a year, making this expansion a natural extension of the Givens’ mission to create community and empower lives.
